A little juice information!
|
|
|
Some questions that we are asked...
Why is Fresh Juice more expensive than the juice we buy in the
grocery store?
|
Apple
Did you know...
...that apples are a good source of vitamin
C, which is an antioxidant and helps to maintain the immune
system?
Rich in iron, high mineral content makes apple
juice especially useful to hair, skin and nails. Stimulates
muscles and nerves.
Pectin content helps reduce cholesterol.
Promotes normal digestion and liver function.

Not 80% water, 15% chemicals and 5% juice. It is also hand made
and delivered bi-weekly to our customers.
How would I benefit from drinking this juice?
It is a natural real product like yourself. Why put man made substitutes
into your body when you are not made of them? Give your body what
it naturally requires.
Should I avoid if it I'm on a diet to lose weight?
Like all things in life moderation is the key. However fresh fruit
juice contains hardly any fat (Typically a mere trace amount in
a 250ml serving of Orange juice). However they are high in natural

What is the difference between your juice and the juice we buy
from the grocery store or from fast-food restaurants?
|
Orange
Have you considered...
... that one glass of freshly squeezed orange
juice can contain more than 750 units of vitamin A and 900
units of vitamin C?
It is highly recommended by many nutritionists
as an energy aid because of the natural sugar content, it
also tones blood vessels and prevents brain fatigue.
Rich in minerals and vitamins including A,
C and the B-Complex, it cleanses and tones the gastrointestinal
tract and, although it is acidic in nature, it alkalises the
bloodstream.

In this country very little juice is actually Real fruit juice
and of those available virtually none is un-pasteurised. This is
due to shelf life and delivery times.
We produce locally and deliver next day and allow a six to seven
day shelf life only. How fresh can a product be if it has been sitting
on a shelf for three weeks?
Would you cut open an orange, leave it to sit around for three
weeks and then eat it???????
Why should I drink a glass of juice when I can just munch on an
apple or eat a banana?
There is the juice of up to seven whole fruits in a glass of juice.
When did you last sit down and eat seven whole fruits in one sitting.
Plus in a liquid form all the goodness is absorbed directly into
the blood stream and does not have to be digested.

Quotations
(from Nigel Slater), quoted from his new book, Thirst
"I have met people who are sceptical of the pleasure and power
of fresh juice. I still encounter those who treat people-who-juice
as being a bit cranky. At the very least, they think of us as being
self-obsessed. I just don't get this. What, might I ask, is so weird
about drinking the freshly squeezed juice of a carrot that eating
the vegetable itself is not? The 'blame' for this lies perhaps with
some of the more evangelistic juice books, whose authors claim just
that little bit too much for their product - as if a glass of alfalfa
juice was the panacea to all the world's ills." Nigel Slater
|
Banana
Nature's battery!
High in potassium. Easily digested - ideal
for babies.
|
"Few would deny that what we put in our mouths has some bearing
on our wellbeing." Nigel Slater
Nutritional Information/Statistics
"We don't need statistics here; the impact of food and drink
is something we can feel for ourselves." Nigel Slater
